2 Blur Guys!

Dinner on a Wednesday at 2 Blur Guys! It was tucked at a little corner at Orchid Hotel near Tanjong Pagar mrt and basically served burgers. A rather cozy place - not many seats and there were only a few diners that night. There were quite a number who takeaways actually.

The place has a simple and yet all-rounded menu. They have chicken, pork, beef, salmon and even duck burgers, however, they have only one of each type to choose from.

 

This is the Premium Beef burger with Portobello (aka big mushroom)($17++). The sourdough buns are only slightly heated up. I would like it to be less thick and more crispy. The potatoes that came with it is cold - and I like it like that.



 

This is the Grilled Spice Chicken burger ($12++). The chicken is only slightly spicy and has the kind of BBQ chicken taste. However, it was rather too salty for my liking. If you are wondering what makes up of it:

" The grilled spice chicken burger  is seasoned with our special spice mix, the chicken thigh is grilled till succulent. Topping it with Gruyere cheese and curry mayo sauce completes the dish.
Served with mesclun salad drizzled in our special balsamic mix with olive oil, and chips"

Dessert to end the meal - Lava cake. Not the best lava cake I have tried but consider the price for this, it was definitely above my expectation (topped up $5.50++ for dessert and a drink^^)
